Why are you so obsessed with volcanoes and lava and poop and toilets and jumping and spilling stuff? ~ Camden, 5 very matter-of-factly to Ryder, 2 at 8:30 am on August 14th.

And this is one of the reasons why I love being a mom, their mom. for the stuff you never knew would come at you; the interjection of ridiculous, random bits of joy. the relationship between brothers. the ages and stages.
